Danang is one of the most beautiful city in Vietnam and a dream beach destination.
Danang who is also written Da Nang (Đà Nẵng) is the fourth largest city in Vietnam. It is centrally located on the coast of the South China Sea and between Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh city in the south. Danang is surrouded by beautiful mountains and is well known for its breathtaking beaches. It is also one of Vietnam’s most important port cities and recognized for its desire to become a model for ”green” city in Vietnam.

Danang’s coastline stretches on more than 30 kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches, pristine blue waters and is also popular for fishing, diving, surfing and more.
Da Nang is the commercial and educational center of Central Vietnam and is one of the top vacation destination in Vietnam. The city is safe, the food is great and the people are kind and welcoming. The city of Hue and Hoi An are easily accessible by car or by motorbike.

The weather in Danang
Danang has a tropical climate. It is typically warm and sunny during the day and cool at night. There are two main seasons; the rainy season starting around September and lasting until mid-January and the dry season which is normally from January to August.
From February to August, the sun is shining and the humidity level is not too high. The air quality in Da Nang is very good compared to many other cities in Southeast Asia. The evening are cooler and still very comfortable.
It is recommended for travelers to wear a hat and sunglasses during the summer days and to bring sunscreen lotion. Vietnamese people normally avoid going outside in the sun from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Therefore, don’t be surprised if you see empty beaches during the day. Many Vietnamese are going for a swim or beach activity from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM and also from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM when the sun is less strong.
From September to January, be prepared for sudden rain during the and/day or at night. However, it is very easy to find a colorful raincoat or umbrella to buy in the streets. During the night, it is cool and it can even be cold (as low as 15° Celsius) in the month of November and December. During this time, Vietnamese people are normally wearing gloves, socks and warm jacket.
All our team feels that Danang is beautiful year round but the best suited time for travelers to enjoy the city to its fullest is probably from February to July. During this period, the weather in Da Nang is beautiful and warm. The beaches in Danang offers an average water temperature of 25°C.
